NCPC also carefully screens and selects companies (called McGruff licensees) to produce a variety of products with educational messages. Approved companies obtain the right to use our registered marks - McGruff the Crime Dog, his nephew Scruff, and the “Take A Bite Out Of Crime” slogan - on specific manufactured products.

McGruff licensees produce hundreds of McGruff educational products and programs, such as coloring books, stickers, lapel pins, magnets, and fully animated McGruff robots and costumes. Many products also feature McGruff's nephew Scruff, and most can be personalized with a sponsor's logo and message. You can shop for these products online.

Law enforcement agencies, schools, businesses, and community organizations use McGruff licensed products and programs to reinforce simple, effective crime prevention techniques.
